Production process
The main methods of producing refractory fibers are melting and colloid methods. In addition to the colloid process of producing ZrO2 fibers, the precursor method can also be used.
Melting method
The glass fiber refractory fibers are all produced by melting method. The melting method can be divided into melt blowing, melting and shredding and melting high speed centrifugation.
The melt blown method is to melt the raw material into the melt in a high temperature furnace to form a stable flow strand and make the melt form fiber with compressed air or steam. Melt spinning is to melt raw materials in high temperature furnace to melt, make it form stable flow stocks, melt flow stocks onto a group of high-speed rotating cylinders, and melt the melt into fibers by centrifugal force of the drum. Melting high speed centrifugation is to melt raw materials in high temperature furnace to melt, make it form stable flow strand, melt flow strand falls on high-speed rotating disc, the disk speed can reach 30000 ~ 120000r/min, and use melt energy and centrifugal force of turntable to melt melt into fiber.
