Ceramic Fiber Spray Coating
Ceramic fiber spray paint coating is a kind of amorphous material which usually by means of pneumatic tools with mechanical injection method construction. It is consist with refractory aggregate, powder and binder (or add additive). Due to cement and aggregate, etc in the process of spraying, repeatedly continuous impact force ejected material compaction, and spray coating has good density and mechanical strength. According to the material's volume and density, spray coating is classified to light spray paint, intermediate spray paint and heavy spray paint. Light spray coating is used for heat preservation and heat insulation lining, and the heavy spray materials can also be used for heat insulation lining, while heavy paint are mainly used for producing lining.
According to the order of adding water (or solution) and water consumption, the spray material is divided into wet, semi-dry and dry method. Wet method is to mix into mud before spraying, the half dry is to wet spraying materials first, then press it to the nozzle and the rest of the water (or solution) can be added. The water (or solution) of dry method are all added in nozzle place. Of the method, the most widely applied method is semi-dry method. Refractory material of crafted characteristics is processed by spraying method. The material mix, spraying process, spring rate and technical features are as the following conditions: the intensity, the spring back amount to be as little as possible, little spraying dust, good adhesion and not causing the clogging in pipeline, etc. Using cement bond to dry or half dry coating, cement consumption accounts for about a quarter of all materials. When cement is overmuch, spraying dust quantity increase, thus the hardening after spraying layer shrinkage will be increased.
Spraying operation has important effect to guarantee the quality of spraying coating and on the spring back amount. Controlling the spray nozzle to the surface distance means that the nozzle spray needs to be perpendicular to the surface. According to the level spiral trajectories, it should ensure the adjustment of good spraying air pressure. Each time, coating thickness will be subject to spray paint not slipping or falling, but each time, the coating layer also should not be too thin so as not to increase the rate of spring back.
Spray coating has become many industrial furnace lining used by one of the most important monolithic refractory. It can be used for building and repairing lining under cold and coating layer, and also ought to use for repatching under thermal state.
